Water Power Visit Probes Coquille River Site
Eastern Oregon and Grants Pass men returned from the south fork of the Coquille river near Myrtle Point after inspecting a water power site filed to supply electric power and light to coast cities including Marshfield North Bend Bandon Coquille City and Myrtle Point. Engineering work is partially completed and the rest will finish this month. The site offers 5 000 to 10 000 horsepower and a 1000 foot fall in one mile promising low development costs along the coast.
