During the last quarter the state engineer issued 150 water permits for appropriation. Eleven permits target reservoir construction and irrigation on 18 690 acres with 21 716 horsepower and municipal use. Projected cost for works totals about 2 300 000 dollars, 550 000 for reservoirs. Little Ildi Agnes Whittington daughter of Mr and Mrs Wert Whittington of South Fork died last Thursday October 23 aged 4 years 2 months 10 days after a long illness. Funeral services by Rev Thos Barklow were held at the home and interment followed at the Whittington cemetery.
