Myrtle Point City Votes Fix of Fourteen Mills Tax
Myrtle Point City Council last Monday evening adopted an ordinance levying a fourteen mill city tax as proposed in the published budget. An order was also passed directing the City Recorder to advertise for bids for the proposed improvement of the west half of the alley in Block 10. School tax is set at eighteen mills after a special meeting where budget amendments reduced district assessed valuation, lowering proposed rate from seventeen to eighteen mills.

Will Kinnicutt Dies After Runaway Injury
William W. Kinnicutt of Medford was injured in a runaway on Wednesday November 92nd when a team of horses became unmanageable. He died Monday evening at 11 o clock as his relatives, including his mother Mrs H B Carson and sister Mrs M P Summerlin, traveled to Medford but arrived too late.
