Kin nicutt Bound Over In Endicott Case At Coquille

Thomas Kinnicutt, a defendant in the Endicott suit, appeared before County Judge Hall as juvenile court officer in Coquille. After adjournment to Monday, the trial continued Tuesday with witnesses, and Kinnicutt was bound over to the circuit court on $500 bond. The testimony suggested premeditation, and the hearing was held behind closed doors.

Myrtle Point Basketball Season Opens With Firemen Victory

Myrtle Point fans enjoyed a lively start to the season with a 36 to 15 win by firemen over the Myrtle Point team at Hermann hall. A Coquille versus Myrtle Point match followed, Myrtle Point winning 28 to 20 as both sides showed talent and future contests promise keen competition.
