Myrtle Point elects new city officers and approves waterworks plans
The Myrtle Point city council installed new officers led by Mayor J. R. Benson and City Recorder Rose. D. Dement became council president as committees were named and four ordinances passed including late-hour closures and dog taxation. The mayor urged fiscal restraint and speeding up street cleaning while praising water system progress.
