Salem Oregon March 19 Premiums for the 1917 state fair will total 28100 an increase of 4500 over last year A county agricultural exhibit premium was fixed at 2000 with increases in sheep swine and dairy cattle departments The goat department premiums were dropped and premiums for Dorset and Devon hogs were abolished due to limited competition The board added 2500 to 4000 legislative funds for a water supply No decision on a horse show with the fair was reached.
