Pioneer B F Ross Died After Long Illness At Empire
B F Ross of Ross Inlet an early county settler died Friday after a protracted illness. He arrived in 1853 with the second interior party, built the first county house at Empire and ran a hotel before moving to the inlet where he died. He leaves one son George Ross and two sisters Mrs Sarah Bone brake and Mrs Louisa Hodson.
