Man Lost Arm In Lumber Mill Saw Accident
R W Tucker of Geo W Moore Lumber Co suffered a severe right arm injury when a sliver drew his limb into a resaw. He had the arm amputated about midway between elbow and shoulder at Bandon hospital. Despite the tragedy he remained cheerful, says the paper.

Loggers Injured in Saw Accident at Camp 7
Andrew Anderson a logger with Smith Powers company stationed at Camp 7 was injured when a two creas saws entangled on a trestle causing a car to be slit in three places. He received medical attention and returned to work the following afternoon according to the Marshfield Record.

The Myrtle Point Canning Co held its annual meeting at the city hall with many stockholders present. 167 shares represented. Minutes read and approved. directors and treasurer reports filed. The treasurer showed expenses to growers and helpers totaling about 3300 dollars. nearly all stock paid in except about 400. Officers predicted no dividend for 2 3 years but expect the business to pay and aid Coquille valley development. Directors elected: N G W Perkins, E B Curtis, H B Steward, L A Roberts, A H Bender.

The wedding of John L Lester and Miss Minnie E McCloskey took place at 8:00 PM on March 6 at Mrs F J McCloskey's home in Nor way. Rev Zehe Fred officiated. About 100 guests attended and presented gifts. Minnie McCloskey, daughter of local pioneers, has taught in valley schools and serves on the Coos County Board of Education. John Lester, a successful wheat farmer from Angiola California, will relocate there with his bride.
