Elopement, Jealousy Spark Death in Roseburg Hotel

Death of Mrs Mary Brooks in Oregon in 1911
Mrs Mary Brooks born January 25 1823 in Ohio died June 3 1911 at her sister Mrs Carmans home near the city. She signed ate supper and went to bed peacefully after years of limited activity. She came to Oregon about 16 years ago leaving one sister Mrs Carman and many nieces and nephews. Peace to her ashes.
