Fourth of July Celebration at Baker Grove Myrtle Point Aids 1000+

A large turnout at Baker grove South Parks in Myrtle Point marked Fourth of July with a sunrise thirteen-gun salute. Revs Botts Norcross gave patriotic talks, Mina Hall entertained, and Earl Watkins read the declaration of independence. A grand basket dinner, barbecue by Sam Breuer and Robert Wagner, and a busy schedule of games followed. The Myrtle Point orchestra supplied music and dances closed the day into night with orderly crowds and little trouble.
