In St. Louis Aug 38 an engraver Albert Schnecker of Western Engraving Co reports a color photography method inspired by Professor Vogel of Berlin. The process extracts three primary colors yellow red and blue to render objects in natural colors. Objects are photographed at right angles with color filtration and special back filters on the plate.

Canada and U S Agree on Closer Klondike Mail Service

Washington Aug 28 Canada and the United States have agreed to cooperate to boost postal facilities in the Klondike region. The plan doubles the coast to district mail runs, with semi monthly service and exchanges at Fort Cudahy and other stations from Dawson City toward Dyea.
