Seneca derelict destroyer proposed with wreck‑fighting gear
Treasury bids award a craft named Seneca built to locate and sink derelicts with wireless gear and high explosives. It includes salvage and life saving capabilities, 1700 horsepower engines, and floodable magazines for emergency. The plan aims to clear oceans of wrecks endangering shipping and improve safety beyond fire destruction methods.
