Two Young Ladies Drowned Near Sitkum
In Sitkum near the East Fork two sixteen year old girls, Vera Harry and May Wiley, drowned while bathing with neighbors. Doctors who rushed to the scene failed to revive them after arriving in record time. A younger girl escaped by swimming ashore.
