Deputy Secretary of State Kozer completed the apportionment of county fair funds under the new Oregon bill. The state levy of one twentieth of a mill yields a total appropriation of 44 532.21 dollars, with Multnomah cap at 10 000 and excess shared among other counties. listings include Baker 1295.54, Lincoln 529.56, Clatsop 1223.93, and Multnomah 10183.46, among many others. Myrtle Point Club elects new board and grows membership

The Myrtle Club meets at its rooms to install a five member board led by L G Johnson with C E Huling as vice president and C Milton Schulz as secretary treasurer. Twelve new members are admitted and plans made for a Fourth of July celebration and an April 19 dance. George N Bower leaves for San Francisco for a month or six weeks.
