Price Increase Sought for Arkansas Anthracite Coal

Amsterdam reports General von Stein says a large part of the French army has been beaten and that Fochs reserve army no longer exists. Prairie Oil and Gas accused in Rogers No. 1 oil well case

A bill in equity in the United States district court alleges the Prairie Oil and Gas Company deliberately damaged the Rogers No. 1 well in Okfuskee County to seize a new field and defraud the Paden Oil Company. Damages exceed $2,000,000 plus wasted oil. The filing seeks a receiver, an injunction, and an accounting for the waste. The Rogers lease and surrounding properties were under a 1913 contract with a profitability clause depending on the well’s success.
