Muscatine County Board acts on zoning and road safety fixes
At a March 18 1968 meeting Muscatine County Board of Supervisors approved a zoning change rezoning a tract from A-1 to 1-2 Heavy Industrial and authorized anhydrous ammonia installation. They also urged negotiations with the Iowa State Highway Commission with Chicago Rock Island & Pacific for a railroad crossing protection device on FAS Route 557 and reviewed grand jury recommendations and county bids for vehicles and services.
