Harvester Teams Offer Friendship To Migrants
Four college students form the Harvester Team Ministry to connect about 100 migrant families with Muscatine. They distribute literature and health kits, teach housekeeping and school registration, host Spanish religious services, and provide friendship. The group consists of Miss Arnold and Augusto Quinter, and Mr. and Mrs. Mills from Antioch College. They report migrants are friendly and commend the work as alignment with their studies and faith. The Harvester program runs alongside other Muscatine Migrant Ministry efforts including a day care center, health service, and thrift store support.
