City letter restates stance on gym flooding at Jefferson
City administrator Gordon Jaeger reiterates that Jefferson school gym flooding results from roof downspouts connected to the sanitary sewer. School board votes to replace rotted wood floor with concrete and tile, while Dr. Fields urges sewer fixes for any wood floor replacement. The city proposes disconnecting downspouts from sewers and directing storm water to ground, offering continued cooperation and to consult other engineers if needed.
