The YMCA releases the coming week schedule with daily recreational swims from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and family swims on Friday and Saturday evenings. The YM summer activities begin Monday, June 28. Airman David N Addleman son of Hershel M Addleman of Columbus Junction has completed basic training at Lackland AFB Texas. A 1962 Columbus Community High School graduate he attended Iowa State University and is selected for training as a communications electronics specialist at Keesler AFB Mississippi. Seaman Apprentice Charles L Hahn son of Le Roy E Hahn attends Navy Fleet Sonar School at Key West Florida studying electronic underwater sound detection devices. In 1964 more than 2600 sailors graduated from the Key West school.
West Liberty Methodist Church schedules for the week of June 13 include 9:00 a.m. church school, 10:00 a.m. divine worship, and 7:00 p.m. MYF fellowship. Vacation School runs 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. daily with strong youth turnout.
