Funeral services for Ellsworth J. Cole 54 were held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Muscatine with Elder Robert Gorans son presiding. Burial followed at Oakdale cemetery under Griffith Funeral Home direction. Cole died Sunday at his Wilton home. Louisa Selective Service group attends state meeting in Des Moines with Louisa county officials present.

Three youths admit damage at Nichols
Three juveniles aged 11 and 12 will be turned over to Muscatine County juvenile court on vandalism charges at Elder Implement Co in Nichols. Damages reached 750, after a large tractor was started and backed into a bailer. Sheriff Oppelt said the youths admitted starting the machine and not knowing what to do next. They will face county attorney and juvenile probation officials.

Cars Denied In Accidents On Tuesday
Four cars were damaged in two traffic incidents Tuesday afternoon in Muscatine. Marvin Furnas backed into Edna Riggs at Park Avenue and East 2nd Street after failing to stop at a stop sign.
