Former Muscatine Woman Passes Away In Eldorado
Mrs. Albert Collett, formerly of Muscatine, died at her Eldorado Illinois home after a lingering illness. She lived on Oak Street during her Muscatine years and was a popular church member and club affiliate. Her husband, Mr Albert Collett, was a street car conductor with many friends in the city.

Robbed of $8000 worth of valuables at West Liberty
Henry Van Horn of Pekin Illinois lost two suitcases containing about $8000 in valuables while changing trains in West Liberty Iowa. After noticing suspicious men he left suitcases in a ticket office. A chase led to a man arrested by Marshal Jack Vauble, who escaped before capture. The suitcases were recovered with most contents intact.
