Roof fires strike three city homes this weekend

Three roof fires occurred in the city as sparks from chimneys touched off blazes at the O H McNal lie home 1100 Iowa avenue the Ed Cone residence 710 Newell avenue and the L Clark residence 715 East Seventh street. Two Muscatine Men Fined for Shooting Quail in Moscow Township

Russell Hargrave age 20 of 1316 East Fifth street Muscatine pleads guilty before Judge W R Maines to grand larceny stemming from the theft of hides from J Greenblatt company. He faced an indeterminate sentence not exceeding five years at Anamosa reformatory and was paroled on the jail sentence after a court hearing.
