NFL playoff picture settles on final day rugged slate
Raiders clinch a sixth playoff berth in seven years after a 21-17 win at Denver fueled by a trick play. OJ Simpson becomes first to rush 2000 yards in a season as Buffalo routs the Jets 34-14. Cincinnati tops Houston 27-24, San Francisco and Dallas win, and others finish strong in a turbulent final day of 1973 NFL action.
