Muscatine residents suspect it may be Harry Jones, the man accused in the Van Winkles case, but authorities doubt the match due to clothing discrepancies. The body was in water for days, making identification unlikely, and the man was tall and heavyset, clad in jean pants, flannel underwear, a black satin shirt, a black coat, and a heavy leather belt with an iron buckle.
