Retiring Postmaster of Moscow Ends Long Career
Milton House of Moscow retires after forty years as postmaster turning duties to his wife Sarah Jane who becomes acting postmaster. He recalls section gang days in 1920s, runs a rural general store with old-fashioned heat and souvenirs, plans to retire and possibly rent or sell the store while staying in the area. House, a hunter with Cedar county and Moscow farms, notes desire to modernize was hampered by years of service.
