Murray Lions Club president Fred R. Anderson voiced strong support for the incoming Murray City officials. The club pledges cooperation to a policy of a bigger and better Murray and will use its resources to aid the district. The organization is praised as one of the county’s most active, with high expectations for 1930.

Pageant at Granite Stake Tabernacle

A pageant titled A Spirit Awakening will be presented at the Granite Stake House at Thirty third South and State on December 1 under the Cottonwood Stake Genealogical Society. Natural Gas Making Gains at Garfield and Murray Plants

The American Smelting and Refining Co announces installation of natural gas burning equipment at Murray and Garfield plants. Wasatch Gas will supply gas, with 10,000,000 cubic feet yearly expected, speeding gas line construction to Garfield and nearby communities. Gas ready for service by January 1 at Garfield plant along a line from Fourth West to 33rd South Salt Lake area. The firm already uses gas at El Paso smelters. Anaconda has used gas at Great Falls.

Eagles Hold Big Enetiation Meeting
