Gold and Green Ball at Mill Creek Ward Friday

The largest and finest Gold and Green Ball of the season will be held in the amusement hall of Mill Creek Ward on Friday evening February 1. A splendid orchestra is secured and plans are complete. It promises to be the social event of the season with a 1920 M. T. A. contest dance demonstration during intermission and favors for all ladies. Hosts include Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Cornwall, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Park, Mr. and Mrs. Parley W. Liddle, Arthur W. Anderson, George Gunderson, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Croxford, Naomi Croxford, Lenore Cornwall, and Isabelle Brown.

Al J Tame recovering from operation. Dan Sumin dies

Al J Tame has returned home after surgery and is recovering, with hopes to be out soon. Dan Sumin of Battle Mountain Lodge No. 31 and Lander Encampment No. 18 died in Battle Mountain, Nevada, from pneumonia last Friday, was brought to Murray on Sunday January 27, and buried January 28 at Murray City Cemetery. Murray Odd Fellows led funeral honors with Andrew Lundquist speaking on Oddfellowship for Murray Lodge No. 3%. Conner and Govich of Battle Mountain Lodge No. 31 accompanied the deceased’s companions to Murray and returned home Thursday.

Haydn Chorus Announces Farewell Public Appearance

Arthur Lind sod Ken neth Frederickson to be honored at a ceremonial farewell in Orant Ward Friday evening February 1. The event, under the auspices of the Headin tagnian organizations of Cottonwood Stake, features the Gustar Adalf Male Chorus of Batt Lake providing music and Provident Moyle as guest. A dance will follow with the best of music for dancers.

Grant Ward Retlet Society hosted its January 20 event for members at the Atlan Banquet. The program featured a welcome address by Mrs. Boedila McMillan and remarks by Mrs. Margaret Peterson.
