Funeral services for Vera Louise Harlow of Mound City will be Sunday at 2 p m at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The 39 year old former Mt Vernon resident died yesterday at Bees Hospital in Carbon e. Born December 15 1917 in Woodlawn she was the daughter of Brady and Rosa Janagan. She married Farris Harlow November 23 1944 who survives along with a son Bill Fort Bliss Tex a stepson Fred Holly Oaks Mass two daughters Eunice Rapp of Mount City and Fredalee Bar ett of Joliet a brother Leo Janagan of Mt Vernon and a sister Wilma Tolley of Mound. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Mt Vernon. The family has lived in Mound City for four years. The body will be in state at Osborn Funeral Home in Dix after 6 p m today.
