Joseph P. Kennedy III, 24, son of Robert Kennedy, says he may run for state treasurer of Massachusetts next year. He keeps options open though, stressing he has not yet decided and is weighing other offices. Crane, the incumbent, says he is aware of the speculation but not certain Kennedy will run. Kennedy, a Democrat, has worked as a juvenile court probation officer and helped manage his uncle Edward’s Senate campaign.

Auto Workers at Belvidere ratify Chrysler contract

United Auto Workers Local 126 at Chrysler Belvidere plant, 3900 members, ratified a new contract Sunday covering local issues and supplements to the national deal.
