Graveside services for Maude Mae Ford, a former Mt. Vernon resident, will be at 1 00 p m Thursday in Oakwood cemetery. She died Monday afternoon in Kansas City Missouri and funeral rites were held there this afternoon. Her body arrives in Mt Vernon at 12 43 a m Thursday. Visitation at Myers Chapel after 10 a m Thursday. Survived by son Max of Kansas City and daughter Madelyn Farney of Alton Illinois, plus brother Arthur McLaughlin and sister Beulah Piper, both of Mt Vernon.
