Prehm Named DAV Commander For The State

Henry Prehm y Danville, prominent here, was named state commander Monday by Lag Olsablad of the American Veterans organization. The Burlington convention was set for June 1948 with Brank McKee as executive. Other officers named include Cecil Decker treasurer and Mrs Sylvia Longstaff as auxiliary commander, with Burlington hosting the 1948 convention. The VFW Bunnies lost Sunday in Burlington to the Skorik Gremlins, a strong southeastern Iowa girls team, by 35 to 1.
