Food Administration Sets Wool Prices and Consumer Rules

The Government fixes July price parity for the 1918 wool clip with 1917, urges a 30 day holding period before sale, and preserves price. It caps binder twine at 23 cents per pound and restricts retailer markup to 2 cents per pound plus freight. Sugar sales limited to 25 pounds per person with proper certificates. Citizens are urged to substitute and limit flour use to six pounds per person per month.
