The Second Regiment of U S Engineers organized at Colonia Dublan Mexico for Pershing’s expedition sailed Sept 10 1917 aboard the Carpathia from New York. In France W C Wood from Rockcastle rose to Corporal at Chateau Thierry and fought at Belleau Wood Vaux Soissons and Champagne. He credited luck to a rockcastle girl’s photo carried from El Paso.

Professor Imamura Teaches Religion in Tokyo College

Professor Paul Imamura, B D, a 1918 College of the Bible Lexington graduate, now teaches at Tokinogawa College in Tokyo. He studied at Transylvania and earned a master’s from Columbia University. He recently lectured in Tokyo on “Can Religion Be Taught?” and offers courses in Religious Education, Sociology, and New Testament Theology.

New York Alumni Plan Dinner For Transylvania College President

The New York Alumni of Transylvania College will host a dinner to honor college president R. H. Crossfield on January 31. Guest of honor will be General George B.
