Price, Ky. Doctor Dies in France During World War I
Grover C. Price, eldest son of Thomas Jefferson Price, born Woodstock Kentucky February 23 1888, died October 30 1918 in Toul France at age 30 years 8 months 7 days. He trained as a physician at Nashville and Louisville medical colleges and served in the Medical Corps sailing with Base Hospital Unit No 78. He married Laura Baker of Plato Kentucky and leaves a wife a daughter Sallye Jefferson Price his mother and four sisters and three brothers. He was a member of Judson Lodge No 518 F and A M and died after a week of pneumonia while on duty in France.
