Fair Guests Parade Through Local Borough Highlights

A crowd of visitors from Danville, Crab Orchard, Mt. Vernon, London, and Louisville gathered for the recent fair week. Notables include Miss Ella Dunn, Miss Etta Frith, Miss Lizzie Holmes, Charlie Fogle, and Joe Carter among numerous cousins, relatives, and attendees. Rockcastle County Fair crowns winners and gears toward new grounds

The seventeenth Rockcastle County Fair drew record crowds over three days with a large premium list. Secretary A M Hiatt steered a successful event, noting strong premiums and festive attractions. Plans point to selling the current grounds for a preferred East side location near town, with the eighteenth exhibition set for Brodhead in August.
