John H. Hutsell aged 71 died at St Josephs Hospital Sunday on his golden wedding anniversary. He and his wife long lived in Lexington and he formerly owned Hutsells Mills before retiring. His wife is sister to Capt J T Williams of Spring Station and he had county relatives.

Splendid Old Gentleman Peter Kelly Dies at 76
Peter Kelly a native of Ireland died at his Winchester pike home Thursday at midnight after a long illness. He emigrated at sixteen to Fleming county and worked on turnpikes then managed tollgates in two counties. He married Mary Howard and leaves survivors. Funeral was held at the Catholic church and burial at St Thomas Cemetery. The Advocate extends sympathy to the family.

Monday county court day drew a small crowd while tobacco warehouses saw visitors. About 2000 cattle on the market with most sales at 6 to 7 cents and top steers around 7 cents. Notable trades include Harve Trimble and others selling 800 to 1000 lb steers and 500 lb heifers to buyers from Clark and Lexington counties. Trade was slow but many cattle changed hands. horses and mules saw little demand.

Early Tuesday morning Owen Laughlin died after a brief illness. At eighty two he served on the Mt. Sterling Graded School board, was a faithful St Patrick's parishioner, and known for honesty and community contribution.
