Spicer Winn, Sept 12. Fire of mysterious cause destroyed the dwelling belonging to Mrs. P. T. Spicer around midnight. The blaze started in the basement and swept through partitions. The Masonic lodge near the scene found the fire already beyond control. The house, empty at the time, had been the former home of Mrs. Fannie Berryhill. Mr. and Mrs. Spicer were visiting Dayton, Ohio, while workers had repaired and redecorated the home for new tenants.
