George Reid a 66 year old stock farm owner from two miles north of Big Rapids died after being struck by a horse at the local fair grounds. The horse bolted during the stock parade and stomped him, causing a fractured skull and internal injuries. He died at 10 30 this morning at Big Rapids Hospital.
Captain M. C. McGregor of Hamilton flies a Meth airplane inside the crater rim of an active volcano at Nearnahae North Island New Zealand. He completed a circuit of the inner rim with a companion aboard before surfacing.
