Crossing Crash Kills Three Women Near Maidstone
Windsor Ontario May 25 Three women died and a man was badly hurt when a Michigan Central express struck their car at the Maidstone crossing twelve miles east of Windsor. The dead include Mrs Charles Reid 50 and her daughter 20 with an unidentified young girl. Reid driver of the car sustained a fractured skull. He failed to notice the westbound express after briefly stopping for an eastbound train. The car was dragged several hundred feet along the tracks.
