La Croix of Midland won a long match 6-2 2-6 6-2. Tryon fell to Stein 6-4 3-6 9-7. Butts of Mt. Pleasant dropped a three setter to Hutching 6-2 2-6 6-2. Jones of Midland beat Hughes 6-0. In doubles Tryon Chamblin lost to Stein Hubbard 6-1 6-1, Hutching Ovitt beat Barr Butts 7-5 5-7 6-3.
