The Isabella county band gave its first public concert to a large audience in the courthouse square last night. The thirty piece group, drawn from local farmers, performed marches serenades and waltzes after two months of rehearsals under conductor Fred Ashley. The program closed with Stein Song march of the University of Maine and more concerts are planned for the summer.
