Sanity Probe After Air Attack On Pilot
A 23 year old Clarence Frechette was evaluated for sanity after he attacked airplane pilot Harry Anderson with a hammer while the aircraft was 2000 feet in the air. Frechette, injured in the crash, was jailed on a warrant from Anderson’s brother for assault with intent to do great bodily harm. Anderson’s condition improved and recovery is expected. Frechette was on probation in 1926 for automobile theft.
