Charges Dropped in Detroit Gun Possession Case
In Detroit on March 6 charges of illegal possession of machine guns and firearms against Mrs. F J Toohey wife of a U S army officer stationed in Honolulu and her assistant Louis Silver were dropped. The case ended with a directed verdict for the defendants. Guns were found during a raid on Sequoia Importing Company offices near city hall.
