Girl Scouts Return From Week In Camp
Sixty six Girl Scouts and counselors returned to Mt. Pleasant last night after a week at Townline Lake. They broke camp at 5 p m and traveled by parent and resident supplied cars. The group plus 13 who attended the training school joined for luncheon on the lake shore. The boat handling lessons helped on the return against a heavy sea and brisk wind. Drowning Victim Thomas Cotter To Be Buried Tomorrow
Funeral services for seven year old Thomas Cotter will be held tomorrow from his home. A requiem mass will be at Secret Heart church at 9 a.m. Cotter drowned in the Chippewa river at Kane's landing Thursday night after diving into shallow water and striking a rock. He was missing for 16 minutes before the body was recovered. He is survived by his parents four brothers and two sisters.

Blanchard Boy Held For Breaking And Entering
