In Lansing on June 23 Judge Charles B. Collingwood dismissed a mandamus petition filed by attorney Joseph W. Planck for Verne Steele Jr. and 37 other Central High students. The judge upheld the school board and authorities who denied the credits for violation of the anti fraternity law. Three members were from Eastern High. An appeal to the state supreme court is considered but no filing has been made.

Flint Girl Dies in Carbon Monoxide Accident
