Drowning At Coldwater Lake Claims Carl McQueen
Carl McQueen aged 28 from the area drowned yesterday at Coldwater Lake after leaping from a spring board into 80 feet of water. His body was recovered over an hour later by Ted Waite the Weidman high school superintendent. The fire in the ice house caused about 500 dollars in damage as divers worked to recover the body. McQueen who could not swim lived with his parents near Winn. The lake resort is owned by Dr M B Robinson of Detroit.
