Three Die in Wing Collapse Plane Stunt Crash
Three killed in Joliet Illinois when a Swallow bi plane wing crumpled during a stunt at 1500 feet. Victims are Bernard Harms the licensed pilot 33 year old John W Parks 33 and John Blessing 14. Harms had carried over 100 passengers that day in a rushed fair. Parks and Blessing were friends of the pilot and planned stunts before takeoff. Harms completed one loop but the right upper wing collapsed on the second.
