Seven Injured In Detroit Street Car Crash
Detroit January 29 seven people were injured when a street car struck a standing trail. Motorman John Gilligan aged 52 is in critical condition with left leg amputated, right leg and arm broken. Flint January 20. Mike Jergovitch age 22 and Larry Redmond age 28 failed to secure counsel for their bank robbery trial causing a delay this afternoon before Circuit Judge Fred W Brennan. The two alleged Mt Morris bandits were captured after their escape car skidded off the Dixie highway. Loot estimated at 10 000 with all but 110 recovered. Redmond identified in Pinconning bank robbery as well. Judge Brennan warned he may appoint counsel if none is found. Sheriff Green said no move to extradite to Bay county.
