Sergeant to be charged with manslaughter in boy shooting
Detroit January 28 United Press reports Sergeant Joseph Poggione 29 of the Michigan National Guard will face a manslaughter charge for shooting 16 year old Private Stanley Prusinowski who fled during an arrest drill. The sergeant fired once as the boy ran, allegedly under orders not to draw his revolver. A military court of inquiry is examining the case.
