Bay City Michigan authorities seek an unknown thief who killed 45 year old Alexander J Campbell. The body was dragged into a shed and the house rifled with drawers emptied and papers strewn. Campbell moved from Flint five years ago and lived in a driftwood shack.
The Tuesday Parent-Teacher Association gathering at Fancher School drew a large crowd. Doris Muche and Doris Albey performed solos, a third grade safety play and health songs were presented, and Professor Helen I R Emmons of Central Teachers College gave a vivid lecture on educating young children.
Col. Charles A. Lindbergh, amid hunting near Balboa Cantil Zone, plans to delay the continuation of his good will tour until Monday or Tuesday, after today's activities.

City league bowling results show Senators defeating two of three teams with totals 2610 and 2410 while Reds’ 2399 and Yanks’ 2176 totals appear. Horn top scores include 210 with Vromnan posting 201 and 200 in the Senators’ win.
W K Willman city manager received a Muskegon police wire seeking to locate a rocker brother of Julius Rocker who died in Muskegon on January 18. The missing Mt Pleasant man, first name unknown, was last heard from there and officials want to reach him regarding the death.
A windstorm of cyclone strength struck the southeast section of Louisville early today. Initial reports indicate heavy damage but no fatalities or injuries have been confirmed.
President Coolidge arrived in Washington from his first international voyage. He praised the Pan American reception and said the trip would ease tensions with Latin American nations. He recovered from sea sickness, enjoyed a cinema on the train, and served pepaya melons to his party to aid digestion after lavish Cuban banquets.
Northampton Mass January 19 fear that the disappearance of Miss Frances St John Smith from Smith College will become a final mystery like the case of Miss Alice Corbett in 1925. Miss Smith has been missing since Friday January 13 with rumors of sightings in various cities but no trace found.
Arthur Vandenberg of Grand Rapids will be the chief speaker at the Michigan State association banquet in Washington on January 26. The invitation was sent by Representative Grant M Hudson of Lansing, president of the association.

A wild tornado ripped through the Cumminsville district of Cincinnati causing widespread damage. More than twenty buildings were razed and many injured with possible fatalities. Reports from Washington Court House and Hamilton indicate additional strikes and heavy disruption to telephone lines.
The sixth Pan American conference began organizing itself in Havana on January 19 without a plenary session. Commitees work on reports. a full meeting seems unlikely until committees complete their reports.
Isabella county authorities issue a warning after a staged punch board robbery at a Johnson service station on M-20 near Mt. Pleasant. Two men pose as customers to sell the board, then steal cash prizes by changing clothes and returning to clean up. Report any further incidents to Sheriff W. A. Hess with all possible details.
An old report notes two skeletons found near Nauvoo Illinois tied to a mormon conflict. References to Smith and Carthage suggest links to violence and alleged involvement in a wrecking of an anti Mormon publishing house.
In Washington on January 19 a Senate Democrats conference, 34 of 46, endorsed floor leader Robinson for his stance against Heflin of Alabama over religious remarks. The group backed Robinson remaining on the Hearst Mexican documents committee despite Heflin's call for his removal. Heflin, absent with 11 others, defended his timing for a Senate meeting and renewed anti Smith remarks as the caucus endorsed Robinson.
